今天又听到了这熟悉的旋律，Hotel California 是我听的第一首非儿歌类型的英文歌，属于ROCK，却在我初中时买的那盘乡村音乐的磁带中出现。
印象最深的还是那超长的前奏和间奏，当初第一次听的时候还误以为只是一首没词的曲子。它是老鹰乐队的经典作品，是最出名的英文歌之一, 也是老鹰乐队的作品中唯一一首我喜欢的...
歌词应该是在讲述一个故事，但是始终不太理解... 暗夜荒漠中的高速公路上，孤寂与疲倦让人沉沦。加州旅馆的灯火通明、尽情狂欢天花板上的镜子，加冰的粉红色香槟，“她说，我们都只不过是自己营造物中的囚徒。”， “有些人舞蹈为了回忆，有些人舞蹈为了遗忘”，当想要离开时却被告知，“你想什么时候结帐都可以，但你永远无法离去”...... 可能主题是一种关于自我和精神的，一种自我迷失的感觉，成为加州旅馆的囚徒...
最后，听了这么多的歌才发现有些经典的声音始终不会让人厌倦...
